This is an unusual insect in Baltic Amber. It is a Moth (Lepidoptera) from Russia. This specimen has very nice detail on the wings, antennae, and legs - the long barbs on the legs are easily seen. The large Moth can be seen in the amber piece with the naked eye. This is a good example of a fossil Moth in a large piece of Baltic Amber (close-up photo of Moth is included for free).
