This is an excellent insect in Baltic Amber. It is a beautiful fossil Beetle (Coleoptera) from Russia. This beetle was photographed ventrally, showcasing the underside of the beetle. The exoskeleton shows many hidden details, and the large, compound eyes are EASILY seen. This is an extremely detailed specimen of a Beetle entombed in Baltic Amber (close-up photo is included for free).
