This is an unusual insect in Baltic Amber. It is a large Moth (Lepidoptera) from Russia. This specimen has nice detail on the wings, legs, and head. The Moth is easily seen in the amber piece. This is a very good example of a fossil Moth in Baltic Amber (close-up photo of Moth is included for free).
