This is a very nice Arachnid in Baltic Amber. It is an excellent Spider (Araneae) from the Baltic Coast of Russia. This specimen is quite large and has nice detail. The long legs are well preserved and wonderfully displayed. The spider is easily seen with the naked eye in the polished piece of fossilized tree resin. This is a very displayable Spider trapped in a large piece of Baltic Amber (close-up photo is included for free).
