This is a HUGE arachnid in amber. It is a monsterous Spider (Araneae) from the Baltic Coast of Russia. This specimen is simply huge - one of the largest we've seen. The legs are intact and splayed out, making for an impressive display. The Spider is EASILY seen within the amber piece. This specimen would make a great collection piece, or a fabulous gift, or even a jewelry center stone. It is a remarkable amber fossil with a very recognizable inclusion trapped inside (large close-up photo is included for free).
