This is a nice insect in Baltic Amber. It is a Wasp (hymenoptera) from Russia. This specimen is complete and displays well. It has the classic shape of a modern wasp. The wasp is easily seen in the large amber piece. This is an unusual wasp fossil trapped in fossil ooze (close-up photo is included for free.)
