This is an excellent insect in Baltic Amber. It is a Bark Louse (Psocoptera) from Russia. This specimen is preserved in a textbook pose. The detail is excellent - you can easily see the wings, legs, and antennae. The bug displays well in the very large amber piece. This is a fine example of a Bark Louse in amber (close-up photo is included for free).
