This is an amazing amber fossil. It is a very large spider (Araneae) from the Baltic Coast of Russia. This specimen has great detail. All eight LONG legs are intact and display beautifully. The spider is easily seen in the large amber piece. And it even looks as if the spider was preserved in the ''attack'' pose! This is a very displayable spider trapped in Baltic Amber (large close-up photo is included for free).
