This is an excellent inclusion in Baltic Amber. It is a rare Millipede (Polyxenus) from Russia. This is an unusual and very detailed specimen. The millipede is easily seen centered in the amber piece. There are also three Parasitic Mites trapped in the amber (one can be seen just above the middle of the Millipede). This is a spectacular fossil and one of the most collectible pieces of amber we've ever had (close-up photo is included).
