This is a large insect in a large piece of Baltic Amber. It is a Cockroach (Blattodea) from Russia. This roach is large and is easily seen in the amber piece. The close-up shows the ventral view, exposing the legs and antennae. This is a nice Cockroach trapped in fossil amber (close-up photo is included).
