This is a nice ant (Hymenoptera) in Baltic Amber. It is from the amber deposits of Russia. This specimen has good detail. It is nicely centered in the amber piece. It is also easily seen in the amber. This is a nice example of an ant trapped in amber (close-up photo is included).
