RARE Spider and Cockroach Nymph Association
Stock Number  ACAS14

Name:   Spider (Araneae) and Cockroach Nymph
Age:  Eocene
Formation:  Amber Deposits
Location:  Russia
Size:  Amber piece is 0.6 inches long

This is a very unusual insect association in Baltic Amber. It is a Spider (Araneae) and Cockroach Nymph from Russia. Although the Cockroach Nymph is not pictured in the close-up, it is easily seen in the scan of the amber piece. The spider has nice color and contrast, and is very detailed. Both fossils are nicely centered in the golden amber piece. This is a unique set of insects trapped in fossil amber (close-up photo is included for free).
