This is an excellent insect in Burmese Amber. It is a beautiful Fly (Brachycera) from Myanmar. Amber from this area is Cretaceous in age, meaning it is from the time of the dinosaurs! This specimen has GREAT wing detail - you can even see the venation on the secondary wings! It looks like it is flying in the amber piece! The fly is easily seen entombed within the colorful amber nugget. This is a very cool insect trapped in fossil ooze (large close-up photo is included free).
