This is a detailed fly in Baltic Amber. It is a nice Sand Fly (Psychodidae) from the Russian Coast. This specimen has great detail, displaying the wings, legs, and antennae beautifully. The fly is nicely showcased in the large, honey-colored amber piece. This is a very nice example of a Sand Fly trapped in Baltic Amber.
