This is a very collectible amber fossil. It is a pair of Mating Midges (Chironomidae) in Baltic Amber. These lovebirds were trapped while in the throes of passion. You can easily see that the flies are joined together at the genitals! And, wow, look at the detail of both bugs! These two little fornicators are entombed in this beautiful honey-colored amber nugget for eternity. This is a very rare and collectible "moment in time" trapped forever in fossil amber.
