This is a large insect preserved in Baltic Amber. It is a fine Termite (Isoptera) from Russia. This specimen has great detail. The LONG wings display the venation beautifully. This is a hard insect to find trapped in Baltic Amber, and this is a really cool example of one. It is a very nice Baltic Amber fossil.
