This is an unusual flying insect in amber. It is a wonderful Bark Louse (Psocoptera) trapped in Dominican Amber. This insect is complete and has great detail. The wings still retain the unique ''stained glass window'' venation pattern. The louse is EASILY seen in the honey-colored amber nugget. This is a very fine Bark Louse in Dominican Amber (small close-up photo is included for free).
