Name:
Pseudoscorpion
Age: Oligocene
Formation: Amber Mines
Location: Dominican Republic
Size: Amber piece is 0.9 inches long
This is a RARE arachnid trapped in amber. There is a complete Pseudoscorpion fossilized in this large amber piece. The Pseudoscorpion has great detail, as seen in the close-up photo. The segmented legs are present, and the large claws display beautifully - the hairs on the claws are even preserved! The segmented body is easily seen, and the mouth mandibles are also displayed! This is a fabulous example of a textbook Pseudoscorpion emtombed in ''fossil ooze''. (Small close-up photo of the Pseudoscorpion is included for free.)
