Name:
Pseudoscorpion in Amber
Age: Oligocene
Formation: Amber Mines
Location: Dominican Republic
Size: Amber piece is 0.5 inches long
This is a rare inclusion in amber. There is a large Pseudoscorpion trapped in this clear amber piece. The Pseudoscorpion was trapped in the classic ''claws out'' position. The 'Scorp has great detail, as seen in the close-up photo. The segmented legs are present, and the large claws display beautifully. There is also a large fly entombed in the amber. This is a fine example of a complete Pseudoscorpion preserved in Dominican Amber (small close-up photo of the Pseudoscorpion is included for free.)
