Name:
Pseudoscorpion and Others
Age: Oligocene
Formation: Amber Mines
Location: Dominican Republic
Size: Amber piece is 2.1 inches long!
This is a RARE set of inclusions in amber. There is a large Pseudoscorpion trapped in this large amber piece. The Pseudoscorpion was trapped in the classic ''claws out'' position. The 'Scorp has great detail, as seen in the close-up photo. The segmented body is easily seen, and the large claws display beautifully. There is also a rare Earwig and a rarer Isopod (Roly-Poly bug) preserved in the amber piece. The inclusions are nicely scattered about the HUGE amber piece (over two inches long!). A complete Pseudoscorpion in amber is a rare find, but one that also has two strange insects intact is a definite keeper. (small close-up photo of the Pseudoscorpion is included for free.)
