This is an excellent Cranefly fossil. It is clear piece of Dominican Amber with a nearly perfect Cranefly (Tipulidae) preserved! This specimen is textbook - the detail is amazing. Note that all six LONG legs are intact and beautifully positioned in the amber - a fabulous display pose. The head and body are also extremely detailed.
