Textbook Honey Aphid Trapped in Baltic Amber

This is a very unusual insect in Baltic Amber. It is a distinct Aphid (Homoptera) from Russia. The Aphid has great detail - the antennae, head, and legs are all well displayed. The segmentation of the body is quite evident. The bug is EASILY SEEN trapped within the honey-colored amber nugget. This is a very detailed example of this rare insect preserved in Baltic Amber (large close-up photo is included for free).
