This is a very nice pair of fossilized ants in amber. It is a Worker Ant double (Hymenoptera) from the Dominican Republic. This specimen has great detail - both ants are very well preserved. The ants are EASILY seen in the cognac-colored amber piece. This is a fine pair of Worker Ants trapped in ''fossil ooze'' (small close-up photo is included for free).
