This is an amazing amber fossil. It is a very large spider (Araneae) from the Baltic Coast of Russia. This specimen has great detail - the LONG legs are intact and display beautifully in the ''splayed'' position. The spider is easily seen in the honey-colored amber piece. This is a very displayable spider trapped in Baltic Amber (large close-up photo is included for free).
