This is a well preserved fly in Baltic Amber. It is a complete Fungus Gnat (Mycetophilidae) from Russia. This specimen has very good detail, especially the wings, legs, and antennae. The fly is easily seen in the center of the large amber piece. This is a very nice Fungus Gnat trapped in fossilized tree sap (large close-up photo is included for free.)
