This is a very distinct insect in Baltic Amber. It is a Bark Louse (Psocoptera) from Russia. This specimen has great detail, showcasing the wings and head beautifully. The louse is easily seen in the large amber piece. This is a very interesting and unusual insect trapped in fossil ooze (large close-up photo is included for free).
