This is a very unusual plant fossil in amber. It is a large Bryophyte in Dominican Amber. Bryophytes are primitive plants that include mosses and liverworts. This specimen is generally bushy, but also has long, leafy extentions. It is very detailed, and has a nice brown color preserved. The Bryophyte is EASILY seen in the multicolored amber nugget. This is a beautiful fossil plant preserved in Dominican Amber.
