This is a well-preserved Spider (Araneae) in fossil amber from the Baltic Coast of Russia. The spider is easily seen in the polished piece of amber. All the legs of the spider are intact and nicely displayed. This is a very fine fossil spider preserved in fossil "ooze" (close-up photo is included for free).
