This is an excellent swarm of ants in amber. They are Worker Ants (Hymenoptera) from the Dominican Republic. There are many ants trapped in the amber piece. They have good detail and are easily seen in the beautiful amber piece. This is a prolific specimen of fossil ants in Dominican Amber (close-up photo is included for free).
