This is a detailed fly in Baltic Amber. It is a large Sand Fly (Psychodidae) from Russia. This specimen has great detail, displaying the wings, legs, and antennae beautifully. The fly is nicely positioned and easily seen in the honey-colored amber piece. This is a fine example of an ancient fly trapped in Baltic Amber (large close-up photo in included for free).
