This is a finely detailed specimen of a Fungus Gnat entrapped in Baltic Amber. The insect displays the head, body, legs, and wings quite nicely. The antennae are easily seen. It even shows the small hairs on the long legs. The venation of the wings is prominent. This is a very nice specimen of a Fungus Gnat preserved in Baltic Amber.
