This is an unusual pair if insects in Baltic Amber. There is a Buffalo Gnat and a Long-Legged Fly trapped in the amber piece. Buffalo Gnats are uncommon in Baltic Amber. Both specimens have good detail. They are easily seen in the amber piece. This is an unusual duo caught in fossil ooze (close-up photo in included for free).
