This is a very nice arachnid trapped in amber. It is a Spider (Araneae) from the Dominican Republic. This specimen has good detail on all parts of the spider. The spider's long legs display prominently. The spider is well-positioned in the oblong piece of amber. This is a very good fossil spider in Dominican Amber (small close-up photo is included for free).
