This is an unusual insect in Baltic Amber. It is a complete Moth (Lepidoptera) from the Baltic Coast of Russia. This specimen has very nice detail on the wings, antennae, and legs. The large Moth can be seen in the amber piece with the naked eye. This is a good example of a fossil Moth in a large piece of Baltic Amber (close-up photo of Moth is included for free).
