This is a nice arachnid trapped in Baltic Amber. It is a Spider (Araneae) from Russia. This specimen has very nice detail - the head, legs, and body are easily seen. The amber is clear and has a beautiful golden hue. This is a very fine spider in amber (close-up photo is included for free).
