This is a rare inclusion in Baltic Amber. It is a Fossil Flower from Russia. Plants, especially flowers, are rare inclusions in amber - they had to fall in or be blown into the amber, whereas insects could crawl or fly into the sap. This specimen has great detail, and the texture on the petals is still preserved. The flower is EASILY seen in the HUGE piece of clear amber. This is one of the best fossil flowers in Baltic Amber that we have ever had (large close-up photo is included for free).
