Size: Piece of amber is 0.3" X 0.8".
This is a spider well preserved in fossil amber from the Baltic Coast of Russia. The spider is easily seen in the polished piece of amber. The fossil spider shows incredible detail. The tiny hairs on the legs are even preserved. The eyes are quite evident. This is a very fine fossil spider preserved in fossil "ooze" (close-up photo is included for free).
