This is a very detailed insect in Baltic Amber. It is a Long-Legged Fly (Dolichopodidae) from Russia. This specimen displays the wings and legs very well. You can even see the hairs growing off the head. It is a great example of a fly trapped in fossil ooze (above close-up photo is included for free).
