Multiple Aphids And Fly In Baltic Amber
Stock Number  ACS16

Name:   Aphids (Homoptera)
Age:  Eocene
Formation:  Amber Deposits
Location:  Baltic Coast, Russia
Size:  Piece of amber is 1.0 inches.

Here is a nice "chunky" piece of Baltic Amber. Entrapped in the amber are six aphids and a fly. The insects exhibit very fine detail. The segmentation of the aphid bodies is very pronounced. The legs are nicely displayed. The insects are readily apparent in the polished block of golden fossil "ooze". This is a very pretty piece of amber with many insects enclosed. A close-up photo will be included for free.
