This is a very nice arachnid in amber. It is a fossilized Spider (Araneae) from the Dominican Republic. This specimen has very nice detail preserved. The LONG legs are quite distinct and very easily seen. The spider is readily viewed, trapped within the golden amber piece. This is an excellent Spider entombed forever in ''fossil ooze'' (small close-up photo is included for free).
