This is a rare insect in Baltic Amber. It is a Winged Aphid from Russia. This type is very unusual in the fossil record - it is only one of a handful we've ever seen. This specimen is preserved with the wings easily seen. This is very nice example of this extremely uncommon insect in amber (large close-up photo is included for free).
