This is a very collectible piece of Dominican Amber. It is a complete Pseudoscorpion (Pseudoscorpiones) from the Dominican Republic. This specimen has very nice detail. The claws display extremely well, and the legs and segmented body are nicely preserved. The scorp is preserved in a very aesthetic pose. There are also two different types of beetles and a mite (mite not pictured) trapped in the amber piece. This is a great example of this rare arachnid entombed in Dominican Amber (small close-up photo is included for free).
